Festa was optioned to Double-A Arkansas on Monday.
Festa spent just two days with the Mariners this time around, allowing a run on three hits and a walk in a two-inning appearance Sunday against the Dodgers. He'll head back to Double-A, where he's spent the majority of his season and has tossed 43.1 innings with a 2.70 ERA.
