Brice was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to gastroenteritis, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.
Brice is likely to be ready to return after the 10-day minimum given the nature of the issue, although Miami will be without one of their more reliable arms out of the bullpen until then. In a corresponding move, Jarlin Garcia was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans.
