Alfaro is day-to-day with a left elbow contusion after exiting Friday's game against Atlanta, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
He was hit on the elbow by a pitch but X-rays came back negative. Alfaro was hitting .300 with one home run and 10 strikeouts in 30 June at-bats coming into play Friday.
