Nationals' Eddie Rosario: Gets start in center field

Rosario will start in center field and bat seventh in Thursday's season opener versus the Reds.

Rosario hasn't played an inning in center field since 2019 and has never been a regular there at the major-league level, but the Nationals are hoping he can provide enough offense to make up for what's sure to be inadequate defense. Victor Robles will begin the game on the bench.
