Alfaro clubbed a three-run pinch-hit homer to give San Diego a walkoff win over Miami on Sunday.
The Padres were unable to muster any runs through eight innings, but they mounted a rally with a pair of singles in the bottom of the ninth. That set the stage for Alfaro, who came on as a pinch hitter with two outs and crushed a 449-foot walkoff shot to center field. The long ball was his second of the campaign and his first since April 10.
