Anderson (elbow) won't pitch off a mound during spring training, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.
Anderson is expected to miss most or all of the 2021 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in July, and he won't be able to take part in mound work during spring training. He signed a two-year, minor-league contract with the Rangers in January and will spend most of his first season with the club in his rehab process.
