Betts had an arthroscopy, a chondroplasty, and a loose body removal performed on his right knee Thursday, Alex Speier of the Boston Globe reports.
The list of operations makes it seem like Betts is getting an entirely new knee, but fortunately for the highly-acclaimed outfielder, all three of these are relatively minor procedures. This development is not expected to hinder the All-Star's ability to be ready for spring training.
