Tigers' Grayson Greiner: Begins rehab assignment

Greiner (back) has been sent to High-A Lakeland to begin a rehab assignment, Emily Waldon of The Athletic reports.

He has been out since June 13 with a lower-back strain, but this rehab assignment suggests he is nearing activation. Bobby Wilson has been serving as the de facto primary catcher in Greiner's absence.
