White Sox's Steven Wilson: Placed on IL with back injury

The White Sox placed Wilson on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with a back strain.

It's not clear how long Wilson is expected to be sidelined by the injury, but he'll be eligible for activation June 4. The right-hander has managed a 2.84 ERA with the White Sox this season in spite of 14 walks over 19 innings.
