Montgomery was waived by the Browns on Saturday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
The 23-year-old spent the entirety of the 2019 season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and won't break camp with the Browns this season. Montgomery signed with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent out of Austin Peay in May 2019.
