Giants' Aaron Robinson: Gets core muscle surgery

Robinson underwent core muscle surgery this week and is expected to be out three-to-eight weeks, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Robinson was already on the PUP list, and this makes it clear why. The rookie cornerback will likely have to wait awhile before his NFL debut. When the 22-year-old does return, he will likely play a reserve role, as he is currently buried on the depth chart.
