Toney (thumb) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
For the second day in a row, Toney's reps were capped while he tends to a laceration on his thumb, an injury that forced him to briefly check out of Monday's 20-17 loss to the Chiefs. Ideally, the rookie first-round pick will upgrade to full activity Friday to clear up any concern about his status for Sunday's game against the Raiders. If he remains limited Friday, however, Toney will likely carry a questionable designation into the weekend.
