The Bills will release Poyer on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Bills will move on from the veteran safety in an effort to open up salary-cap space ahead of free agency. Poyer, who had one season remaining on a two-year, $12.5 million deal that he signed last March, is coming off a 2023 campaign in which he racked up 101 tackles and 1.0 sacks in 16 regular-season contests.
