The Texans waived Boone on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Boone will head to waivers after serving as a healthy scratch for the past four weeks. The 28-year-old will now look to catch on with another team after carrying the ball five times for 23 yards and catching seven of his nine targets for an additional 70 yards in nine games this season.
