Jones signed a two-year contract with the Steelers on Thursday, Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Jones has proven to be a quality backup for Pittsburgh the past few years, starting two games in place of Ben Roethlisberger in 2015 and 2016. Jones can a decent short-term fantasy option in the event that Roethlisberger is forced to miss any games due to injury in 2017.
