Texans' Brandin Cooks: Sits out opener

Cooks did not play in Saturday's 26-7 win over Green Bay in preseason Week 1.

Cooks was one of several skill players to get the night off for the preseason opener. He's expected to be the team's top receiver when deployed, but Texans coach David Culley appears to favor an offense that will rely heavily on the ground attack.
