Holmes (groin) is not practicing Thursday, Eric Smith of the Vikings' official site reports.
Holmes' groin injury kept him from facing the Saints in Week 16, and it looks like he's trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's game against the Lions. If he misses another game, D.J. Wonnum would be the favorite to inherit Holmes' role.
