  • Chris Lacy: Done with Raiders

Las Vegas waived Lacy (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Lacy will be eligible to sign with a team once his health allows. The 27-year-old wideout last logged a regular-season snap back in 2019.

  • Raiders' Chris Lacy: Reverts to IR

Lacy (undisclosed) reverted to the Raiders' injured reserve after getting waived/injured by the team Sunday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Lacy was competing for a spot on the Raiders' active roster after spending the 2022 season on their practice squad. The nature of his injury is unclear, but he is now set to miss the entire 2023 campaign unless both he and Las Vegas can reach an injury settlement at some point down the line.

  • Chris Lacy: Let go by Las Vegas

The Raiders waived/injured Lacy (undisclosed) on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Lacy rejoined the Raiders on a future/reserve contract in January after spending time on the team's practice squad in 2022. He last saw NFL action in 2019 with Detroit. Lacy will revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers and could be let go if he reaches an injury settlement with Las Vegas.

  • Raiders' Chris Lacy: Given another contract by Las Vegas

The Raiders signed Lacy to a future/reserve contract Monday. Lacy was initially waived by Las Vegas after spending about two weeks with the team this preseason, and he re-joined the team via the practice squad in mid-August. The 6-foot-3 wideout was then elevated ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale against Kansas City, though he ultimately did not see the field. Lacy was one of 13 players to sign a reserve/future contract with the Raiders on Monday, so he'll likely compete with DJ Turner and Isaiah Zuber for a depth role heading into the 2023 season.

  • Raiders' Chris Lacy: Bumped up to active roster

Las Vegas elevated Lacy to its active roster from the practice squad Friday for Saturday's game against Kansas City. Lacy will have a chance to make his season debut in Week 18 after spending the majority of the campaign on the Raiders' practice squad. The undrafted wideout out of Oklahoma State caught three of 10 targets for 60 yards in seven appearances for the Lions during the 2019 campaign, but he hasn't seen regular-season action since.

  • Chris Lacy: Headed back to Vegas

The Raiders re-signed Lacy to the team's practice squad Thursday. Lacy spent just under two weeks with Las Vegas this preseason, but he has been looking for a new contract since getting waived Aug. 23. The 26-year-old will now rejoin the team's practice squad after fellow wideout Dillon Stoner (undisclosed) was placed on the practice squad reserve/injured list Thursday.

  • Chris Lacy: Cut by Las Vegas

The Raiders waived Lacy on Tuesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports. Lacy signed with Las Vegas after the team released Jordan Veasy two weeks ago. The undrafted product out of Oklahoma State caught three passes for 60 yards with the Lions in 2019, but he hasn't appeared in an NFL regular season game since.

  • Raiders' Chris Lacy: Joins Raiders

Lacy signed a contract with the Raiders on Wednesday. The 26-year-old receiver heads to Las Vegas after the team recently released Jordan Veasy. Lacy caught three passes for 60 yards for the Lions in 2019, but has otherwise found himself jumping between numerous practice squads since joining the league in 2018.

  • Chris Lacy: Let go by Chicago

The Bears waived Lacy on Monday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports. Brad spent the preseason competing for a depth role in Chicago's wide receiver room, but he will now have to vie for a chance elsewhere. He appeared in eight contests for the Lions from 2018-19.

  • Bears' Chris Lacy: Targeted five times

Lacy caught three passes for 26 yards in the Bears' 41-15 preseason loss to the Bills on Saturday. In a game that Chicago struggled to move the ball through the air, Lacy's 26 yards placed him third on the team in receiving. However, he's still battling with a number of other receivers in the hope of making the regular-season roster as a depth option.

  • Bears' Chris Lacy: Joins Bears

  • Cowboys' Chris Lacy: Heads to Dallas

  • Chris Lacy: Lands on waivers

The Lions waived Lacy on Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. The Lions added Quintez Cephus in the fifth round of April's draft, so Lacy had a steeper hill to climb during training camp. Lacy is considered a practice-squad candidate if he makes it through waivers.

  • Lions' Chris Lacy: Back in Detroit

The Lions re-signed Lacy on Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Detroit waived Lacy earlier this month, but the team has since found room for him on the roster again. The 24-year-old appeared in seven games with the team in 2019, logging three catches for 60 yards.

  • Chris Lacy: Waived by Detroit

The Lions have waived Lacy, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports. Lacy -- who joined the team as an undrafted free agent in 2018 -- caught three passes for 60 yards in seven games with the Lions in 2019. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder will now look to secure a depth wideout role with another team.

  • Lions' Chris Lacy: Leads team in targets

Lacy caught two of seven targets for 12 yards during Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Packers. It was Lacy who ultimately led the team in targets during a game in which Kenny Golladay (concussion) hit the locker room early. While his final output was a disappointment given his usage rate, Lacy almost had a wide-open 50-plus-yard touchdown that was prevented by a Packers cornerback who had no choice but to commit pass interference. In any case, the 23-year-old will finish the 2019 campaign with three catches (10 targets) for 60 yards and no touchdowns. While Lacy is under contract with Detroit for one more season, it's possible he'll once again have to earn his spot on the depth chart next summer depending on who the Lions might add to the team's receiving corps this offseason.

  • Lions' Chris Lacy: No catches in first career start

Lacy was targeted once but did not record a catch during Sunday's loss to the Broncos. Lacy got another chance in the passing game during his first career start, but he was unable to make a splash play like he did last week against the Buccaneers. He'll at least have one more chance of serving as the team's No. 3 wideout during the season finale Sunday against Green Bay.

  • Lions' Chris Lacy: Makes noise on sole catch

Lacy secured one of two targets for 48 yards in the Lions' 38-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. Lacy came into the contest with a chance to presumably make an impact as a No. 3 option behind Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola, but he ended up being minimally targeted by rookie quarterback David Blough. However, Lacy's late-third-quarter catch served as the first of his career and produced a game-long gain for the Lions. The second-year wideout will look to make a bigger impact in a Week 16 battle versus the Broncos.

  • Lions' Chris Lacy: Mostly used on special teams

Lacy logged three offensive snaps but was not targeted during Thursday's 24-20 loss to the Bears. Lacy was signed to the active roster in the wake of Marvin Hall's (foot) placement on injured reserve, but the majority of Lacy's playing time came on special teams. While his role as a kickoff returned could lead to additional touches, Lacy is unlikely to make many plays on offense as long as Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola stay healthy.

  • Lions' Chris Lacy: Moves to active roster

The Lions signed Lacy to a contract Wednesday. Lacy's spot on the 53-man roster comes following Detroit's decision to place Marvin Hall (foot) on injured reserve. Lacy will serve as the team's No. 4 receiver behind Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola.
