Browns' Josh Boyce: Signs future contract with Browns
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Boyce has signed a reserve/future contract with the Browns.

Boyce has spent four years in the league, having made stints in both New England and Indianapolis, but only has nine receptions to his name. With a depth chart currently unsettled behind top wideouts Terrelle Pryor (finger) and Corey Coleman, Cleveland offers a legitimate opportunity for Boyce to crack the final roster.

Josh Boyce: Waived by Browns
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Boyce was waived by the Browns, the team announced Monday.

Boyce signed a contract with the Browns just a week ago after being waived by the Colts, but the wide receiver was unable to find a depth spot on the team despite Cleveland's receiving corps battling injuries. Two cuts this offseason on top of the fact that Boyce hasn't played since his rookie year in 2013 do not bode well for his chances in the NFL moving forward.

Browns' Josh Boyce: Signs with Browns
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Boyce signed a contract with the Browns on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of reports.

Boyce was released by the Colts on Tuesday, which was a bit of a surprise as he was thought to be in competition for the fourth receiver slot. The former fourth-rounder hasn't played since his rookie year in 2013, but he could manage to catch on with the Browns. Cleveland currently has four of its top receivers sidelined, opening the door for Boyce to see some reps and make a push for a depth spot right away.

Josh Boyce: Released by Colts
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Boyce was released by the Colts on Tuesday, Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star reports.

The decision comes as somewhat of a surprise, given that Boyce was in the mix to serve as Indy's No. 4 wide receiver. Head coach Chuck Pagano hinted that the team is looking for a veteran (or two) to join a young position group, with spots up for grabs behind the leading trio of T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief and Phillip Dorsett.

Colts' Josh Boyce: Two receptions in preseason opener
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Boyce had two receptions for 16 yards in Saturday's preseason win over Buffalo.

Boyce was sidelined early in training camp with an undisclosed injury, but looked back to full speed. Boyce could emerge as Indy's No. 4 receiver, but the competition remains wide open.
