Manager Joe Maddon said Adell, who's not in Sunday's lineup, is sore after hitting the outfield wall Saturday night, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Maddon said it's possible Adell will be available off the bench in Sunday's series finale against the Astros. Adell has gone 1-for-5 in consecutive games and is hitting .297 with a triple, three home runs and eight RBI in his last 10 contests. Phil Gosselin is starting in left field and batting third Sunday.
