Urias was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.
With Urias laboring through his last two starts and the Dodgers getting Brandon McCarthy and Rich Hill back from injuries earlier in the week, a demotion to the minors was an inevitability for the 20-year-old phenom. The lefty did have flashes of brilliance early on during his five-start run with the Dodgers, but control was a major issue, as he finished with an 11:14 K:BB in 23.1 innings. The Dodgers recalled Josh Ravin from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move to provide an extra arm out of the bullpen.
