Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Rough outing against Colorado

Buehler allowed five earned runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out two across 3.2 innings Wednesday against the Rockies. He did not factor into the decision.

Buehler allowed five consecutive hits to begin the fourth inning and was eventually pulled from the game having allowed all five earned runs in the frame. While Buehler has largely remained effective, this performance comes just three turns through the rotation after he allowed six earned runs across three innings to San Francisco. Notably, Buehler also has only 13 strikeouts across 19.2 frames in four September starts. Even so, he has maintained a stellar 2.58 ERA with a 196:49 K:BB across 195.2 innings on the season.
