The right-hander allowed two inherited runners from Tony Watson to score on a Jorge Soler in the seventh inning. Littell has allowed runs in back-to-back appearances after starting August with an 8.2-inning scoreless streak. He has a 2.93 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 37:19 K:BB through 46 innings overall, while adding two saves and five holds in a versatile role.
