Moore was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Sunday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
The veteran left-hander wasn't eligible to pitch for Miami in the playoffs since he was acquired in mid-September, so the organization opted to move on. Moore delivered four scoreless appearances during his brief time with the Marlins and finishes 2023 with a 2.56 ERA across 52.2 innings overall.
