Young signed a minor-league contract with the Mets on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training.
Young missed much of last season due to hip surgery but it appears he'll be healthy heading into camp. The 29-year-old southpaw has been effective during his limited time in the majors, posting a 2.45 ERA and 17:4 K:BB over 14.2 innings.
