Doolittle struck out the side in his only inning of work to earn his 20th save Friday against the Phillies.
The Nationals entered the ninth inning with a four-run lead, but after the bullpen gave up three runs without recording an out, Doolittle came on and didn't allow the Phillies to put a single ball in play. He's been an outstanding fantasy option at closer with a 2.25 ERA along with pitching for one of the best teams in the National League.
