Tatis, 18, is hitting .242/.313/.358 with two home runs, seven steals (on 11 attempts) and a 30.6 percent strikeout rate in 134 plate appearances with Low-A Fort Wayne.

He is not handling his first full-season assignment as exceptionally as Vladimir Guerrero Jr., but Tatis has almost been a league average hitter (97 wRC+) in the Midwest League, which is an impressive achievement for any 18-year-old. Tatis is hitting .346 over his last six games, raising his average from .213 to .242 over that span. His physical tools and offensive potential remain near the top end of the spectrum, so dynasty league owners will need to remain patient as he deals with ups and downs during his first year in a full-season league.
