Gibson (7-9) gave up three runs over seven innings with five strikeouts and three walks to earn the win in Friday's victory over Chicago.
After giving up seven earned runs in 11 innings over his final start in July and first in August, Gibson has bounced back by allowing just four runs in 14 innings in his last two starts.
