Headley is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the A's.
Ronnie Torreyes will take over at third base against right-hander Sonny Gray, pushing Headley to the bench after four straight starts. The overall numbers are still ugly for Headley, but after back-to-back two-hit games, he is now batting .291/.339/.436 for the month of May. He's hit safely in nine of his last 11 games.
