Inman was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a groin injury, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Inman ended up sitting out the preseason finale with what was labeled as an abdominal injury, so it's likely the groin issue is linked to that. The fact that Inman took part in the Chargers' first practice of the season to some extent improves his chances of suiting up in Week 1 against the Broncos, but he'll need to take part in workouts again Friday and Saturday before the team can expect him to suit up in the opener with any confidence.
