Te'o has been placed on IR after suffering a torn Achilles during Sunday's game against the Colts.
It was expected Te'o would be placed on IR after it was announced Monday that he had torn his Achilles. Former Raiders linebacker Korey Toomer will take Te'o's place on the roster, with rookie Jatavis Brown expected to take over as the starting inside linebacker opposite Denzel Perryman.
