The Texans released Rodgers (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Rodgers presumably picked up the injury during Friday's preseason win over the Rams and was placed on injured reserve Sunday. However, the 28-year-old wideout is now a free agent, and once healthy, he will be allowed to sign with a new team in 2022.
