Chiefs' Charcandrick West: Enters concussion protocol

West will enter the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury during Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, B.J. Kissel of Chiefs.com reports.

West was primarily involved on passing downs during the Chiefs' Week 11 loss, securing three receptions for 42 yards to go along with zero carries. Starting running back Spencer Ware, on the other hand, received 17 carries, severely limiting West's value. West may miss some practice time this week if he's unable to immediately clear through the league's concussion protocol, so his status for Week 12 against the Broncos could be in danger.
