The Giants released Mayo on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Mayo suited up in 11 games for the Giants in 2020, averaging 17.5 defensive snaps per contest and totaling 29 tackles. The Giants will free up $4.85 million in salary-cap space over the next two seasons by cutting him loose.
