Sanders won't return to Sunday's road game against the Jets due to an ankle injury.
Sanders was approaching a career high in rushing at the time of his injury in the fourth quarter, when he clutched at his ankle at the end of a third-down catch. He remained down on the Jets' sideline for a few minutes before walking back to the Eagles' bench. After examining him in the blue medical tent, Philly has opted to keep Sanders out for the remainder of the contest, likely due to all the ankle issues he's dealt with this season. With Jordan Howard (knee) inactive Sunday, the team is left with Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell in the backfield.
