Coach Ron Rivera said Friday that he has a "very high" level of optimism that McLaurin (concussion) will play in Sunday's game against the Eagles, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Postreports.
J.D. McKissic (concussion), on the other hand, sounds truly questionable, while McLaurin apparently is on track to clear concussion protocol before Sunday's game. It'll be a less-than-ideal setup for receiving production, with Garrett Gilbert plucked off New England's practice squad for a potential Week 15 start after Washington QBs Taylor Heinicke and Garrett Gilbert were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
