Washington waived Wright on Monday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Wright finished his rookie season with 27 receptions for 197 yards on 35 targets. However, Washington brought in Curtis Samuel (groin), Adam Humphries and rookie Dyami Brown this offseason, helping push Wright off the roster.
