The Packers placed Ervin (foot) on injured reserve Wednesday.
It was reported Tuesday that Ervin was expected to shift to IR after suffering a foot injury in the Packers' Week 13 win over the Eagles, so this news isn't surprising. Ervin will now miss at least the next three games, and Tavon Austin could step in to handle return duties over that time. With Ervin out, only Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams are currently healthy on the running back depth chart.
