Hayes opted to stay with the Rams Wednesday, signing a three-year, $21 million contract, NFL.com reports.
With Chris Long leaving, the Rams needed to keep Hayes, who has developed into a fairly effective pass rusher the last few years. Working in less of a rotation without Long, a 10-sack season isn't out of the question for Hayes.
