Saints' Dannell Ellerbe: Rounding into form

Ellerbe made five tackles (four solo), including a sack, in Sunday's win against the Rams.

The oft-injured Ellerbe dealt with a quad injury throughout the first half of the season and didn't make his debut until Week 8. Even since his return, however, his playing time had been somewhat limited. But against the Rams, the Saints finally used Ellerbe is more of a full-time role, as he played 91 percent of the defensive snaps, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. With 21 tackles (13 solo), three sacks, five quarterback hits, and one pass defensed in just four games, Ellerbe is rounding into form at just the right time for fantasy owners. If the athletic linebacker is floating on waiver wires, he makes for a sneaky add in many IDP leagues.
