The Seahawks activated Parkinson (foot) from injured reserve Saturday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Parkinson was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday and will be active against the 49ers on Sunday. The 22-year-old tight end battled his foot injury throughout his rookie season, so it's unclear what type of role he can play for Seattle's offense. With Gerald Everett (illness) likely unavailable Sunday, Parkinson will be needed for depth behind Will Dissly and Tyler Mabry.
