Cousins completed 14 of 31 passes for 216 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Vikings' 36-28 win over the Steelers on Thursday night. He also rushed twice for 14 yards.
Cousins went into the contest with a sparkling 25:3 TD:INT on the season, along with an impressive 68.4 percent completion rate. Those numbers went by the wayside Thursday in what was a tough matchup against a short-handed but gritty Steelers defense, one that never sacked Cousins but recorded six hits on him and also saddled him with his first multi-interception performance since Week 6 of last season. Cousins did make up for the pair of turnovers with touchdown passes of 14 and 62 yards to Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn, the latter a critical score with 10:51 remaining after the Steelers had closed to within nine points. The veteran signal-caller extended his multi-touchdown streak to six games with the two scoring tosses, a stretch he'll look to extend at the expense of the Bears in a Week 15 Monday night battle on Dec. 20.
