Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Not practicing Wednesday
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Fenton (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports. Fenton played 96 percent of the team's defensive snaps and recorded two tackles during Monday's win over the Raiders, but he presumably picked up a hamstring injury as well. The severity of the issue remains unclear, but if he doesn't return to practice Thursday or Friday, he'll be in danger of being sidelined for Week 6.... See More ... See Less -
Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Activated off active/PUP list
Fenton (shoulder) was activated off the active/PUP list Tuesday and returned to practice, Charles Goldman of USA Today reports. Fenton missed the entirety of the Chiefs' offseason program while recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, but now that he's healthy, he'll look to work his way back into a prominent role in Kansas City's secondary. The 25-year-old cornerback has played over 500 defensive snaps in each of the last two seasons and finished the 2021 campaign with a career-high 49 tackles.... See More ... See Less -

Fenton (shoulder) was placed on the Chiefs' active/PUP list Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports. Kansas City coach Andy Reid said Friday that Fenton will miss the start of the team's upcoming training camp, but he can still be removed from this list and practice at any point before the start of the regular season. Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Out to start training camp
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Friday that Fenton (shoulder) won't practice to start training camp and will likely land on the active/PUP list, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports. Fenton missed all of the Chiefs' offseason workouts after undergoing shoulder surgery this offseason. Kansas City drafted three cornerbacks and traded for Lonnie Johnson at the end of April, so it appears the Chiefs have a contingency plan in case Fenton's absence extends into the regular season.... Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Unlikely to participate in OTAs
Fenton is rehabbing his shoulder and unlikely to participate in OTAs, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports. Kansas City drafted three cornerbacks and recently traded for Lonnie Johnson, which suggests Fenton's current roster situation is a bit precarious. The 2019 sixth-round pick appeared in 14 games last season and registered 49 tackles, seven pass deflections and one forced fumble. Teicher adds that Kansas City is optimistic Fenton will be ready for training camp.... See More ... See Less -
Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Back for Week 14
Fenton (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports. Fenton was considered questionable after practicing as a limited participant all week, and he'll retake the field Sunday after missing last week's matchup with Denver. The 24-year-old has played a significant role in the secondary over his past seven games for Kansas City.... See More ... See Less -
Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Full participant in practice
Fenton (concussion) was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Fenton injured his head in Week 3 against the Chargers and was forced to miss Week 4 action with a concussion. After he recorded a full practice Wednesday, it's possible Fenton will be available Sunday against the Bills. If he isn't able to play in Week 5, expect Deandre Baker, Mike Hughes and L'Jarius Sneed to see increased snaps.... See More ... See Less -
Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Absent from injury report
Fenton isn't listed on Kansas City's injury report ahead of Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Browns. Fenton tweaked his hamstring during the preseason but should be a full go to begin the regular season. The 24-year-old appeared in all 16 games and recorded 35 tackles (27 solo) and one interception last year, and he should serve as depth in the secondary in 2021.... See More ... See Less -

Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Draws questionable tag
Fenton (foot) is questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Bills. Fenton wasn't able to suit up for last weekend's divisional-round win over the Browns, but he did manage to put together a trio of limited practice sessions this week.
