The NFL playoff picture could start to gain clarity on Sunday since the Week 12 NFL schedule features a handful of critical matchups. The game of the week is expected to be Sunday's inter-divisional Rams vs. Packers showdown at Lambeau Field. Both teams are expected to be in the mix for the NFC's No. 1 seed, and neither can afford to lose. The AFC North, the only division with every team above .500, also should gain clarity Sunday. The Browns (6-5) will visit Baltimore to take on the division-leading Ravens (7-3) on Sunday Night Football, while the Steelers (5-4-1) will head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals.

The Over-Under on Matthew Stafford's passing yards is 271.5 in the latest NFL player props at Caesars Sportsbook, while the number for Aaron Rodgers is 260.5. Green Bay receiver Davante Adams (+490) is favored to score the first touchdown of the game in the current NFL prop bets. Before locking in any 2021 Week 12 NFL prop bets, you need to check out the top NFL picks and predictions from NFL props expert Alex Selesnick.

Top 2021 Week 12 NFL prop picks

One prop bet that PropStarz loves for NFL Week 12 is Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski to go over 3.5 receptions. Gronkowski has been Tom Brady's safety blanket for more than a decade, and he had six catches for 71 yards in his return from injury on Monday Night Football against the Giants last week. He has 22 catches in five starts, being targeted eight times in three games and catching at least four passes in four of them.

The Colts' defense ranks 23rd in the league against the pass (216 yards per game), so Brady will throw the ball early and often. With the Indy defense likely to focus its attention on receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, Brady should look underneath plenty. The Colts have given up 66 catches to opposing tight ends this season, third-most in the NFL. Bills tight end Dawson Knox was his team's leading receiver last week against the Colts, catching six passes for 80 yards.
