Bills' Dawson Knox: Finds end zone in win
Knox caught his lone target for 12 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 23-20 win over the Jets.
Knox's trip to the end zone was his first of the 2024 campaign, as the veteran tight end has taken a back seat to teammate Dalton Kincaid in the Bills passing attack. Through six games, the 27-year-old has recorded just four catches on six targets for 42 yards. As long as Kincaid is healthy, Knox cannot be trusted for consistent production in Buffalo. The Bills host the Titans in Week 7.

Bills' Dawson Knox: Not targeted in Week 5
Knox failed to record a single target in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Ravens.
Knox was held without a target for the second time this season. The veteran tight end continues to play behind teammate Dalton Kincaid, who saw six targets in the contest. Knox caught one of two targets for seven yards in Monday's 47-10 win over the Jaguars.
Knox was in a near-even split in tight end snaps with teammate Dalton Kincaid in the contest, with each handling 33 and 34 offensive snaps, respectively. The 27-year-old Knox, however, has taken a clear backseat to Kincaid as a pass catcher in the tight end pecking order. Knox should not be in fantasy consideration barring an injury to Kincaid going forward. The Bills will visit the Ravens in Week 4.

Knox surprisingly matched Dalton Kincaid with two targets apiece in Week 1, but the Week 2 distribution was closer to preseason expectations, with Kincaid getting all four targets among Buffalo's tight ends. Bills' Dawson Knox: Returns from groin injury
Knox (groin) played in Saturday's preseason game against Pittsburgh and caught his lone target for a nine-yard gain.
Knox and Dalton Kincaid both started, alongside RB James Cook and WRs Keon Coleman and Mack Hollins. Kincaid was removed from the game after two snaps, and Knox didn't stay in much longer (six snaps) before handing things over to No. 3 TE Quintin Morris, who then left with a shoulder injury. Groin and ankle injuries have cost Knox some practice time this summer, but he's been available more often than not.

Bills' Dawson Knox: Misses practice Thursday
Knox (groin/ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
With Knox managing a pair of injury concerns, the tight end is a candidate to miss Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers. Knox logged nine snaps in Buffalo's exhibition opener against the Bears en route to logging one target. Once the regular season starts, the 2019 first-rounder is slated to maintain a role in the Bills offense as a blocker and pass catcher, but the continued presence of 2023 first-rounder Dalton Kincaid limits the fantasy upside of Knox when both players are available.

Bills' Dawson Knox: Managing groin injury
Knox isn't practicing Sunday due to a groin issue, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Knox's absence is also denoted as "vet rest" on the team's injury report, but this is the first word of a groin issue. It's unclear if the veteran tight end's absence from Sunday's practice is precautionary or if he's going to miss additional time. Knox is slated to again cede most of the team's tight end pass-catching work to Dalton Kincaid during the coming campaign.
