Week 12 is make-or-break in the NFL for many teams on the brink of a playoff berth. The 6-4 Panthers host the 5-5 Seahawks in a crucial NFC matchup, the 5-5 Colts host the 5-5 Dolphins in a must-win AFC scenario, and the 4-5-1 Packers visit the 5-4-1 Vikings in a virtual elimination game featuring two teams chasing the Bears. Adding to a high-stakes week is a laundry list of injuries to key players, like Bengals wide receiver AJ Green (toe), Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels (foot), Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (hamstring, knee), and Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin (groin). In order to figure out which games to attack and which NFL picks to make, you need to see what Hammerin' Hank Goldberg has to say.

If you're looking for a huge payout during Week 12 of the NFL season, there's nobody better to listen to than Goldberg. Hammer enjoyed a 17-year ESPN run in which he had only two losing seasons. Last year, he competed against 10 top handicappers in the Las Vegas Review-Journal's NFL Challenge and beat them all, finishing 50-29-6 against the spread. Now he's sharing his strongest picks at SportsLine.

In Week 10, Hammer nailed all three of his best bets, and anyone who parlayed them was rewarded with a 6-1 payout. Now, he has examined every matchup and every spread on the Week 12 NFL schedule and locked in his three best bets. Parlaying them would pay out at 6-1. And he's only sharing them over at SportsLine.

One key part we can tell you: Goldberg expects the Giants (+6) to be very competitive at slumping Philadelphia, not only covering, but possibly winning outright. The Eagles rank 25th in rushing (98.2 yards per game) and their defense collapsed the last two weeks, allowing 75 total points in losses to Dallas (27-20) and New Orleans (48-7). Quarterback Carson Wentz was a train wreck last week, throwing three interceptions, no touchdowns, and posting a QB rating of 31.9.

Meanwhile, the Giants, eyeing payback for a Week 6 rout by Philly, enter on a two-game winning streak in which quarterback Eli Manning has completed 73 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and no interceptions. Manning has thrown for over 250 yards seven times this season.

"The Giants are facing another team that doesn't bring a lot of pressure on the QB," Goldberg told SportsLine. "If Manning doesn't get pressure, he can complete passes. Philly's secondary is beat up and the Eagles don't have a running game. That's their basic problem. Take the points."

Goldberg is also all over a team absolutely nobody wants to back. The line involving that ugly duckling is wrong, Goldberg says, so it's a must-play for any NFL parlay. You need to see it before locking in any picks this week.

So what are the three best bets Hammer is confident will return a huge 6-1 payout in Week 12? Visit SportsLine now to see which ugly duckling comes through big-time, and see which spread is way off, all from the legendary handicapper who keeps crushing sportsbooks with his NFL picks.
