Braun is not in the lineup for the first half of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
It's no surprise to see that an oft-injured veteran like Braun won't be tasked with starting twice in one day. Ben Gamel starts in right field for the first game of the day, but Braun will likely return to the lineup for the nightcap.
