Akins caught one of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 27-0 win over the Cardinals.
The three targets were a season high for Akins, who along with Harrison Bryant generally has to settle for scraps behind David Njoku at tight end. Akins was on offense for 19 snaps, his most since Week 1, but he remains third on the depth chart.
