Brady's agent, Don Yee, said in a statement Saturday that his client hasn't yet formally decided to retire from the NFL, Adam Schefter of ESPN report.

Meanwhile, Michael Silver of Bally Sports reports that the veteran quarterback has not informed general manager Jason Licht or head coach Bruce Arians about his decision to retire, though the matter seems likely a formality after Schefter and Jeff Darlington of ESPN reported earlier Saturday that Brady was bringing an end to a Hall of Fame career. Considering Brady's own company posted on its Twitter account a career achievement rundown in celebration of the seven-time Super Bowl winner -- which has since been deleted -- it would be a surprise if the 44-year-old elected to play in 2022. Expect more news to eventually come from Brady's camp in the coming days.
