Mahomes completed 20 of 37 pass attempts for 166 yards and one touchdown against Green Bay on Sunday.

For the third week in a row, Mahomes had a favorable matchup but averaged under six yards per pass attempt and failed to score multiple touchdowns. Even before this brutal three-game stretch, Mahomes had more turnovers (five) than touchdowns (four) in Weeks 5 and 6, so he's been struggling for five weeks now. Mahomes is clearly too good of a quarterback -- and players like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce are too good as pass catchers -- for these struggles to last forever, but it's alarming that it has taken this long to sort out their struggles. An adjustment of some kind in the Kansas City offense might be necessary, and such maneuvering could come before the Chiefs face the Raiders on Sunday Night Football in Week 10.
